1) The very first shot is from the movie Cats and Dogs 2: The Revenge of Kitty Galore, and when you watch it you'll notice that it's actually three back-to-back shots cut together to play a quick action sequence. The next two shots that follow are also from Cats and Dogs 2. The two cats dressed in wetsuits, the flying grappling hook (fired by the cats), and the talking pigeon are all CG animated characters and/or objects. All of these shots are key-frame animated to work within the live-action background plate.
2) The next string of edited shots is for the video game How To Train Your Dragon. The two characters, Fishlegs and Snotlout, are full CG characters. The characters in these shots are all key-frame animated except for the hair. The hair on both characters are sims.
3) The next two shot are for the video game Shrek 4. The two characters, Rumpelstiltskin and the (toy) Pinocchio puppet, are full CG characters. These two shots are key-frame animated.
4) The last series of shots is for the video game Mosters Vs. Aliens. The two reporter characters, Bob Brinkman and Veronica Shapely, are full CG characters. These shots are key-frame animated except for the hair. The hair on both characters are sims.
Hey, before you split, I've got one more video just below. If nothing else, it's good for, well,... reference.
